During the daily traditional Montessori work period, students will get hands-on practice with topics that interest them most using art, journaling, sorts, crafts, experiments, sensory experiences, etc. Whole and small group lessons will include manipulatives and hands-on opportunities to deepen understanding.
Reading & Writing Skills
Phonics & Comprehension
Individualized plans will be created with the family to meet each student's needs, whether they are in the beginning stages of the reading process or deepening their understanding with complicated texts. Writing skills and practice pair naturally with the reading process at any stage.
